core dump on exit (and more stuff)

hi

I just finished installing Kdeveloper and am having three problems:
1. everytime I launch the program, the installation script (window) for 
documentations comes up and asks that I install the documentations
again. Is
there way to make this stop by saving some settings?
2. The c-c++ documentations did not install correctly even  though I
untared them 
in the share dir. Isn't this where they should go?
3. On exit, once in a while I get seg fault. Has anyone experienced
that?

I am running RH 6.0. All the libs are up to date.
