I assume you have SuSE 6.0 or 6.1 (correct me if I'm wrong).

What does 'rpm --checksig kdevelop-1.0beta1-1.i386.rpm' say?
If you get an error, your rpm is broken. Please go to www.kdevelop.org and
download it again (the rpm on kdevelop.org was broken, now you'll be
redirected).
