If you check out the KDevelop homepage (http://www.kdevelop.org/) you can see
the list of requirements. It's generally best to use the latest packages for
the compiler and libraries.

As for Qt, I would stick with 1.44 for now as I am not sure how good Qt2.x
support is in KDevelop now.
