As long as the KDE and QT libs are there, any KDE/QT app will run under
GNOME. The same same is true for the converse situation. I run KDE and
keep the GNOME/GTK libs here so that I can compile and run programs for
GNOME.
Basically, when you run the appwizard, select "console program" and set
the project to use the libs you need. It will still handle
autoconf/automake and you can use KDbg (A nice GDB frontend). You can
also use the iconeditor. The dialog editor, however, will be useless to
you. Glade (I hear) should work fine for you.
Actually, I tried gIDE and it seems nowhere near finished. I wanted to
develop KDE programs in it (no IDE should force libraries on you, and I
doubt any do).
So if I were a GNOME guy, I'd probably still be using KDevelop anyway.
Good luck!
