sorry for the long delay. Java and kdev-pg-qt isn't really down my alley
anymore, I haven't spent any time on these subjects in multiple years. I'm
also afraid to say that updating the grammar file to a recent java language
version would be _quite_ the undertaking!
https://techbase.kde.org/Development/KDevelop-PG-Qt_Introduction is some
documentation on the topic. But going further than that, we'd need to see your
actual problems and then invest a significant time ourselves to get up to
speed with this old technology again. I'm afraid that I at least don't have
the luxury for that right now. Generally, a much better path forward would be
to integrate the language agnostic LSP into kdevelop, and then get java
support through there somehow. There was some interest in that, maybe someone
else from the mailing list can help you with that. That's why I have CC'ed
that list. Please direct further replies there.
