That'd be an idea, yes. At least get an idea how to get a comprehensive measure 
of when to indicate something.

I'm more concerned with the implementation details; it may not even be feasible 
to do this only for the git plugin, API-wise, and then it immediately becomes a 
lot of work (need to provide implementations for all SVC plugins).
