Sorry for that.

Unfortunately the SVN plugin is lacking a real maintainer, we mainly do 
critical bug fixing in there.

So if there's interest from your side to bring that plugin forward, I suggest 
considering contributing to KDevelop development so this gets some traction.

I'm not aware what needs to be changed in order to make it work with SVN 1.8, 
though.
