Not much that can be done about that, eh? Apart from a CMake option to go fetch the embedded icon from the selected theme somehow, but even that is problematic on OS X. Something has changed that make it impossible to create a .icns file from the PNG images of an installed theme, as was possible with KDE4.

It is as it is, neither issue is really an issue.
