Unless something actually changed in kdevplatform in that area (which
should be easy to check with a git log) since it worked the last time I'd
say for some reason the build picks up macosx' tar instead of gnu tar and
the former has no support for that option.
Its not clear to me from the jenkins interface when the last time was this
build has succeeded so I can't say wether something in kdevplatform
changed. Nothing related has changed in kdevplatform in the past 14 days
though as far as I can see and the macro that calls tar hasn't changed in
months.
So I'd lean towards this being always broken, unless one has an environment
where the 'tar' command is gnu tar and not the macosx shipped one.
