As of now kf5-kate builds fine on windows (plugin loading in kf5 still
needs some love, though, so lots of functionality are missing in kate UI,
as well as in other apps). KF5 modularity is indeed a step towards
single-app installers, by reducing the dependency bloatwarehell, and Kate
is indeed a very good use case.
