I'm wondering. Does that make sense for every project?

For quite an amount of projects I have openened in KDevelop the current view is totally fine and sufficient. A hierarchical view would require some navigation to get to the actual tests.
Maybe you could add a toolbar button for toggling between flat and hierarchical view?
