doxygen support for comments

hello everyone,

you may probably know the function when you stay with your mouse over a 
class, method, function, ... -name a popup window appears and shows a 
lot of useful information, when you defined them.
Now it supports "only" plain comments, but I think there is a lot 
potential to use this, like doxygen support.
My question:
-  Has anyone ever dealed with this idea? Why not?!
-  Where is this feature implemented (source file please) so that I can 
see what I can do.
