Review Request: Make area switcher usable when KDevelop runs on an appmenu-enabled system

Anyway though, we shouldn't rely on some specific theme being used, it
is perfectly valid to use a non-kde theme like QtCurve which doesn't
update the isNativeMenuBar flag. Maybe it needs an additional check
whether the currently used theme does this (eg. Oxygen of at least
version X).
