Kdevelop for console application development - a few questions

I'm not familiar with other shells, so I cannot do anything about
that. Yes, the solution seems to be, either enforce bash, or disable
the features. bash is basically a programming language, and it doesn't
sound like a good idea to make the same code work on multiple
different programming languages, as it's nearly impossible...
