Sorry, but I don't think you understood my reasoning: If I am not aware of 
this new setting, I won't take a look at it's tooltip. You cannot assume that 
our users review every single commit, as you see not even I did this here. 

Thus, sending a little email around, announcing this new feature, is always a 
good idea.
