What's about branch rename and branch merge?

Current IBranchingVersionControl has "tag" method, what's about it?
(maybe ITaggableVersionControl?)

Also there is DistributedVersionControlPlugin with these methods, remove them?
Should DistributedVersionControlPlugin implement these new
IBranchingVersionControl?
Which class will be responsible for popup menu items?
