Project configure settings are ignored in master

Hello.

1. Thank a lot to Niko Sams for the workaround of the tabulation problem - it 
worked for me perfectly.

2. Project configure settings in the today's master does not obey the existing 
project settings and shows nothing. Also existing settings are spoiled.
For example, the month-ago version (works fine) has 2 variables set as:
CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Debug
CMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr/local

When I bring up the same project with the master, NO settings are displayed 
(the corresponding screen is empty) AND CMAKE NOW COMPILES THE RELEASE version 
only!

Bringing back the "old" version shows variables, but 'Debug' is substituted 
with 'Release' now.

Is there any workaround? :-)
