Debugger stops program when stepping from the opening brace line to the first line of the function.

It seems i can:

(gdb)
-stack-list-arguments --thread 1 --frame 0 0 0 0

(gdb)
-var-create --thread 1 --frame 0 var5 @ "is"

Segmentation fault

I'll enable core dumps,retrace the steps again, and post it here.
