From today: I opened the same files in Kate - TAB works fine, as required.

Hello, all.
I compiled the master version and replaced the one installed about a month 
ago.
Now, when I opened my C++sources, all tabulations are displayed as ONE blank 
character! Although the Editor's settings show that TAB is 4 chars.
When I look into the file(s) by midnight commander, I still see TABS on their 
places.

I will be very thankful for any recommendations...
