KDevelop is leaking X connections

Sorry for the short message. The problem for me was related to plasma-workspace, specifically a poorly programmed widget which kept on requesting windows from X11. After half an hour of usage, the plasma-workspace process would allocate around 233 connections which filled up the 255 available ones.

Since all widgets are in-process now with plasma-workspace it's hard to identify which of them is faulty, in order to kill the process and be done with it.

What you can do is remove them one by one, and well... see when the problem goes away. Actually, that was the only advice I got from #kde.

There's also an utility, xrestop I think, which can help you diagnose such resource problems.

However, it's clearly not related to KDevelop.
