I've not yet fixed it but want to start with it now. Any help is appreciated.

I'll first look at code completion, as completing a function misplaces the (), 
e.g.:

QString.toAscii() is instead done as QString.toA()cii

Might be a bug I introduced by porting the CodeCompletionModel to the 
ControllerInterface3 (as 2 + 1 is also Smart* dependent).
