Rebased patch so it applies properly after the file move in r1102855.

Also fixed the qVariant typo that Milian pointed out.

(off-topic: ironic that Update Diff doesn't work in Konqueror, I had to use Firefox.)


Summary
-------

I wanted to play around with the VCS code (maybe improve the Mercurial plugin), and in the process I found a lot typos in the comments.

This patch fixes several typos, spelling mistakes, bad grammar, and Doxygen syntax. No code is changed, only comments.
