Summary
-------

This patch gets rid of the very annoying tooltips showing up on other desktops when you switch to a different desktop (gnome in my case) via key combination e.g. alt+left/right. The tooltips are especially annoying as you cannot close the windows and get rid of them and they are on top of everything else hiding what you want to see.
