You mean QDF tell people they've talked with us? Well, certainly not
with me (though I do recall 1 short thread here related to the gdb
plugin).

Quite frankly, given the above, I don't think I'll be putting effort in
that. If QDF think they need to re-invent the weel for everything (see
QtMultimedia or PySide), so be it.
