Yes, that's reason I brought it up in the first place - the way I want to use 
these tools is not supported by current sublime design. I thought that was 
established about a week ago and see the source of confusion now, my bad.

Hence this patch which allows linked views the quick & dirty way, until 
someone comes forward with a sound solution.
