Maybe you can only think of such use-cases, but I can think of some
others as well :)

Seriosuly, I don't see the need for a configuration option here if we
have proper dependecies between projects, simply because we then _know_
when we need to cancel the further building and when not.


You have an unusual magnetic personality.  Don't walk too close to
metal objects which are not fastened down.
