It will be cool.
I agree that in many cases we don't need UI we have to use it.
I remember to use KIO::NetAccess I was forced to use KDEVTEST_MAIN
instead of Q for my tests (I understand it's a bit another situation),
which made them much slower. AFAIK the situation with more complicated
tests is much worse.
But also I agree with Andreas in the thing we shouldn't put it to the
public API. It can be put even to another place. IMHO kdevplatform is a
library can be used by many people, and KDevelop is our toy, so since we
develop KDevelop it can be a better place for any tests API.
