Thanks. Alas, no dice, everything is there. :-(
No errors from ldd, and AFAICT*, all libs exist and are what I expected 
them to be.

(* "ldd /usr/local/kde-3.5-svn/lib/kde3/kio_svn.so | grep '=>' | awk 
'{print $3}' | xargs ls")
