Any comments from the KDevelop side? This obviously feels like something 
that KATE should be doing, but Maciej has a point about KDevelop having 
already a place for this information. Personally I don't understand how 
it's worth it (lost work? Maybe all of two seconds, unless you're simply 
unwilling to learn the shortcuts...); I don't see KATE persisting what 
highlighter you have selected when we already have modelines.
