Modifying vcs parts

Hello,

I started to play with the kdevelop source code, I modified the  
subversion part a bit. After modifying the code
I compiled kdevelpop (from within kdevelop) but unfortunatly it  
doesn't use the subversionpart from the build
directory. Insted it uses the subversionpart of the installed  
kdevelop version (from /usr/local/lib/kde3).
How can I make kdevelop (the compiled one, not the installed one) to  
use the subversionpart from the build
directory?
