Controlling of the application exit from a plugin

Hi,

 Is it possible to get a signal when the application is about to exit so 
the plugin can clean up itself (eg save data) and in case the user 
cancels the saving of the data, the whole application exit is 
cancelled?
 I mean something like KMainWindow::queryClose(), but in a plugin.
