SVN support does it work?

I've been spilling a lot of blood trying to get the KDevelop SVN support to 
work for me.  I'm trying to hit my SVN of http.  The sever works.  I'm 
managing a project by hand with it.  I have very little experience working 
with SVN, so I could be doing something wrong.  I's like to know if this is 
working for anyone using the latest SVN KDevelop image.
