           Summary: Wishlist for Documentation part
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: RedHat RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-devel kdevelop org
        ReportedBy: boris_s hotmail com

Version: 3.x.x (using KDE KDE 3.2.1)
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
OS: Linux

I would like to see the following changes in the way Kdevelop 3.x.x handles documentation

1. Give us back c/c++ reference guide.
I don't understand the reason it had been removed from the latest versions of Kdevelop
It was an excellent guide and much effort had been done in order to compile it. It is
very useful to have such reference handy even for C/C++ gurus and not all developers are
   gurus.

2. Local Documentation is a MUST.
I don't believe that a decision to have an online documentation only was a right one.
For example, I do most of my development on a laptop, and internet is not always
available to me. Thefore I don't have access to documentation. I beleive that it's the best to have an option of downloading documentation to those who want it localy

3. Documentation location bar
Even when online, it really helps to see where you documentation resides. I also don't
like an idea of a kdevelop browsing some unknown URL without my explicit knowledge of
   it

4. Some simple tutorial on how to convert/index and add existing HTML/PDF references books and docs so they can be accessed from Documentation view.
so it's possible to access and search them withing documentation part.
