GPL'd apps can only be linked against the free version of Qt. That becomes a 
problem for porting some Qt apps to windows. See

Irrespective of the text, I'd still like to know whether it is OK to 
update .ui files in kdevelop to Qt 3.3, or whether compatibility with 
previous versions is still required.
