Summary: Toplevel mode only keeps track of last file opened
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-devel kdevelop org
        ReportedBy: chrisflesner yahoo com

Version: 3.0.x (using KDE KDE 3.2.1)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc 3.3.3
OS: Linux

When in toplevel mode, I can only do things with the last file opened.

I can switch between the open files with the tabs, but it still registers the last opened file as the one that's in use. So I cannot copy/paste/save/reformat source, etc. with anything but the last file I opened (which means it's impossible to cut/paste between files).

And if I close the last opened file, it just acts as if I have none opened (no file listed in title bar, and most menu options greyed out).

Luckily, the "Save All" option will still save the other open files, but that is the only menu option that seems to do anything with them.
