IDEAl mode - how to switch off the text from the side tabs captions ?

Version: KDE_3_2_BRANCH - compiled from sources, daily
Platform: KDE_3_2_BRANCH, Qt-3.2.2

I have noticed that the behaviour of side buttons captions for KDevelop 
built on top of the KDE_3_2_BRANCH differ from the same KDevelop 
codebase built on top of the KDE-3.1.94 (KDE-3.2 Beta 2). With the 
KDE_3_2_BRANCH one can not change the buttons behaviour so that they 
show only icons until clicked on certain one. The (bad and undesired) 
effect is that all buttons are not reachable since the summary tab bar 
exceeds the desktop size.

Is it possible to change this behaviour and how ?
