           Summary: kdevelop forgets end-of-line encoding
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: kate integration
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-devel at kdevelop.org
        ReportedBy: cproch at seculogix.de

Version: unknown (using KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from: Gentoo
Compiler: gcc version 3.2.3 20030422 (Gentoo Linux 1.4 3.2.3-r1, propolice)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-gentoo-r8

It seems that, when kdevelop saves a source code file it sometimes forgets end-of-line encoding.
I noticed this when checking in a modified source file.
CVS diff said: -356 lines, +1 lines

When i checked out the file it had unix encoding.
After saving it it had windows encoding.

Christian Prochnow
