Navigating between window groups.

I like the tabbed window display the best, but I get the sense that is not the 
one with the best support for additional feature such as switching between 
windows with keyboard shortcuts.  I do like to have that ability, however.  
- From what I have seen in the user's guide, the support for keyboard for any 
UI mode navigation is not quite as complete as I would like.  

I would like to be able to switch between the various groups of windows with 
one set of key chords, and between tabs with another.  Am I making sense 
here?  Am I asking too much?  Should I file a bug (wishlist) report?  Should 
I quite complaining and accept the fact that this is a very nice, and 
powerful product? ;-)
