Summary: Toplevel window mode unuseable
Product: kdevelop
Version: 3.0.0
Platform: Gentoo Packages
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kdevelop-devel at kdevelop.org
ReportedBy: gpmfuchs at web.de
Version: 3.0.0 (using KDE KDE 3.1.5)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.3
OS: Linux
When I'm changing to toplevel mode, close kdevelop and restart it.
It start's in toplevel mode but the windows with the tree tool views and output views are missing.
More precicely they seem to be openend but be closed before kdevelop is startet completely.
The status bar is also missing. when the window bar is open. Looks like the size of the main window is fixed. (It's not possible to change it's height)
I can reenable it with the tree view and the output view with the view menu. But at the view->tree tool view -> the text to the menuelements are missing. (And the text is also missing at the reenable tree view window)
It also would be very nice if openend files would not apear on top of the main window or the treeview or output window. I'm using xinerama. There is a lot of space, and to move the window when it's opend is just ...
It just would be fine if all the windows reapear at the same positions with the same size, where I left them when I closed kdevelop.
