kdevelop - needing automake 1.5

Have you read the part that says:

You can circumvent the need for autoconf >= 2.52 and automake >= 1.6.1 
by doing:
      $  cd KDevelopSourceDirectory
      $  rm -Rf admin
      $  ln -s $KDEDIR/share/apps/kdelibs/admin admin

?
