cvs problems

Same here, don't think you are doing anything wrong,
anoncvs.kde.org appears not to be working.

Try setting CVSROOT to
anonymous at kdecvs.student.utwente.nl:/home/kdecvs/kde
or
anonymous at bluemchen.kde.org:/home/kde

Using either of these I can connect OK but they seem not to be 
completely up to date.
