Any chance for a feature freeze?

Thanks for the mail, Roland. Currently, Gideon is very stable, but there are
some major bugs that still need to be squashed before we deem things better
than alpha.
The current goal is to release Gideon final along side KDE 3.2, though it
*should* still compile with KDE3.1 and >KDE 3.0.3. I imagine a feature
freeze would probably happen at the same time it does for KDE 3.2. Right now
most of the developers, it seems, are less concerned with new features and
more concerned with making the parts work right. But new features do creep
in, and they usually turn out to be worthwhile! :) There have been a lot of
developments lately in regards to appwizard templates, and I see more coming.
We'd love to have you demonstrate Gideon. I would venture to say that a CVS
head checkout would get you a great version to show. We've added some major
improvements since the Alpha 3 release - including a complete redesign of the
class parser.
Please let us know if we can assist you with questions before your
demonstration.
Caleb
