When I initially start up Kdevelop and go to the Kconsole window, the internal calculation for window width seems to be messed up. My prompt looks like this and when I do an 'ls' it displays in a single column.

If I resize the kconsole window output is done correctly.

It looks like the width is being initialized to 16 instead of the true window width.
