Summary: Gideon's unconventional behavior on mouseovers
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-devel at kdevelop.org
        ReportedBy: jburrell at athena.dhis.org
Version: 3.0.0a4 (using KDE KDE 3.1.2)
Compiler: GCC 2.95.4 autoconf 2.57, automake 1.7.5
OS: Linux
Example: Gideon is fullscreen on the desktop. The user runs Konsole, which pops up in front of Gideon. If the user runs the mouse over any part of Gideon's window, Gideon is brought to the foreground. This is unconventional behavior, and not what most users would expect. If there is currently a configuration option to turn this feature off, I would suggest considering turning it off by default to provide a more standard interface behavior.
