Summary: Gideon should feature different color schemes
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Unlisted Binaries
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-devel at kdevelop.org
        ReportedBy: tnagy at eleve.emn.fr

Version: gideon cvs kdevelop20030727 (using KDE KDE 3.1.1a)
Installed from: Unspecified Linux
Compiler: gcc 3.2
OS: Linux

Many people use a black on white editor and are quite happy with it. However another bunch of people (like me) use a white on black color scheme (grey on black).

It is already possible to change the colors of the embedded konsole to have this color scheme. However, changing the editor colors is a lot more tricky - as a result all the colors highlightings have to be changed by hand.

What's more, the backgrounds of the other gideon widgets will remain black on white and that makes it very ugly and inconsistent.

I suggest to provide at least two color schemes : black on white and black on white, with the syntax highlighting colors that go well with them.
