How to use r++???

yes, I compiled a cvs version from last friday. My databases are named qtinfo 
and kdeinfo, but there is no effect.

I used to call r++ with "-a -r", and when scanning the kde dirs I often get 
messages about headers not found. Could it be that there is one or more 
environment variables to be set with all the include pathes?

But generally, how do I tell Gideon to care about the database files?
