No, they don't conflict. The header files aren't make-installed and the .so
files have a different major number: libkdevelopqextmdi.so.2 for KDevelop-2.1
and libkdevelopqextmdi.so.3 for KDevelop-3.
Here, I often run KDevelop-2 and 3 in parallel without problems.
