I think some people would disagree.  I think the main focus is on making it 
work with KDE 3.1 while starting to add in new KDE 3.2 features as they 
become available.  Since 3.2 will break BC probably weekly, gideon will need 
to be recompiled to keep up with that schedule if you're running against 
HEAD.  Man, it's hard making it work between 3 different major versions! :)

F at lk has a big interest (as do others) in keeping it working with KDE 3.0.x (x 
> 4?), so as long as someone is willing to support adding #if KDE_VERSIONS in 
places where they need to be, we *should* be able to at least still compile 
against 3.0.4.  But as time moves on we'll probably end up drifting away from 
3.0.x

I'm sure some of you out there will have your opinions on this.  Feel free to 
fire away! :)
