Error starting

I'm using Mandrake 9.0 with KDE 3.1 packages from the cooker.  I've
tried to compile from source both kdevelop 2.1.5 for kde 3.1 and 3.0a3
and whenever i try to run the executables i get the same error.  I
looked and this file is in kdelib.  Should i look around for a different
kdelib rpm or could this be caused from something different??

lt-kdevelop: relocation error: /usr/lib/libkdecore.so.4: undefined
symbol: _ZN6KStyle12defaultStyleEv

Any help would be appreciated.
