Hi,
I'm off overseas on a holiday tomorrow (New Zealand, US, UK)... I don't expect
to be doing much work on kate until Jan 4 when I arrive at my accommodation
in the US and plug into cable internet :)
So, what's left to do before release (imho) ?
* Text Hint Interface (KDevelop authors please read too)
I'd say we should not include this interface in 3.2. Having it in 3.2 is not
going to help anyone as I see it. In KDevelop it is implemented (qeditor)
but not used (#if 0 as far as I can see) because it needs to be much smarter
if it is not to annoy the user. I'm not aware of any other apps using it.
This is more up to the kdevelop guys, but I would _much_ prefer to do a good
job of it post-3.2 than to try to support it after BIC changes are not
allowed (kdevelop could maintain the header internally for now, too).
So, if the KDevelopers don't mind, please pull it.
* Block selection tagging appears a bit broken, I'll work on it
* dyn-wrap-indent is slightly wrong broken too, ditto
* dyn-wrap-indent is a bit ugly, will try to change that too
* delete whitespace behaviour
I have a feeling we'll get a few bugreports about this one, but we can't
really change it now... on the todo for post-3.2.

When open read only(permissions) file, kate edit this file. (does not save
file) I think, don't edit file form the beginning is better.
That's all I can think of right now.
Seasons' greetings + a happy new year to all.
Cheers,
Hamish.
